Velvet Heartbeat Curated

Brands we stock

We love having a curated selection of accessories from other ethical brands that compliment our style - basically things we love but can’t make! As with our own brand it is very important that anything we offer to you meets our values for ethical production, vegan materials and are consciously created. Here is a little about the brands we are working with and how to find them online if you would like to learn more…

Agnes & Me

All their products are: certified Buy NZ Made, cruelty-free, eco-friendly (they use glass and aluminium jars and compostable packaging for posting), toxin-free (of course), affordable (quality shouldn’t cost the earth). Coucou Suzette

Coucou Suzette share our ethical values and specialise in colourful, fun and skitch creations from the mind of Parisian illustrator Juliette Mallet and her team. Each of their choices is conscious and justified and their suppliers have been selected for their experience and the quality of their work. Their accessories are made from cellulose acetate, which is a material made of plants (wood and cotton pulp). It is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council), which means the wood cellulose they use comes from forests managed in a sustainable way. The wood comes from a legal logging and its extraction does not cause deforestation nor harm the biodiversity.
